Given Up

As I look down to my death I see all the life I have left Bout ready to jump While I stand and hold my breath The devil says be my guest In hopes of what comes next With the chains made of pain Grabbing tight around my neck And the weight of the world Pushing down on my chest Looking up to sky Before I decide to take my life Thinking of all the better times That were blinded By the tears that I cried Trying to rearrange my thoughts Before my final goodbye I am live I am well I am worthy I am here Living, breathing, changing daily Almost ready to be on my own And this is only the beginning I am winning I have won Remaining champion number 1 As I step back, step down Now safe and sound I realize I have not yet given up
