Given To Learn
She is a fair maiden, not the fairest though;
But she did know how to row.
In a boat where she studies the formation of land,
Then working on the sand.
Animals and science are her biggest passions,
But Ireland is one of her future destinations.
The land calls a forbidden passage,
But the trouble is the message.
Many people don’t know her struggles,
They think she is just one of the muggles.
Her home life has never been complete,
In her head, it’s a musical beat.
Still waiting for the right man to sweep her off her feet,
Being pampered for once should be such a treat.
She waited to write profoundly,
She only spoke properly.
Never did she want to be and English teacher,
But if she was, it would be torture.
Her admiration for their profession is tremendous,
But she wants to be famous.
Her mother once told her, “You’re very smart…”;
“…Don’t ever let them tear you apart.”
My mother is very wise,
The amount of knowledge she had given me is a surprise.
I am her most possessive prize.
