Given Word

Color bursts

Pen upon the page

A life out written

For the sake of One Name.

Desperate for an answer

Longing for relief

Isolated, headed down

Box of darkness held within

Empty up ahead

Smooth and spotless

Unblemished, untouched

Unled, unheard as of yet

Pen upon the page

Spotted, written blood

Death screams tightly

Life ends abruptly

Price paid

Freedom laid

Grave bursts open

Light, a dove, a butterfly

Releases to open sky

Broken

Shattered glass inside

Where would I be

Without the words of my Christ

Pen upon the page now

Words spill out

Peace flows

Smiles wide

Laughter free

Soul blooms open now

Garden planted clean

Words of Father written

Bring relief

Words of rhyme

Words of rhythm

Words of style

Fashion, form

Beauty in poetry

Hurt spilled out

Release of pressure

Washing, wringing of soul

Peace

Words of Christ

In poem like form

Wildly spinning

Rose watering

Healing

Scars are stories

A blot upon the page

And what better

Impact is this

God of Universe

Sent to die for me

But,

Death is not the end

Life returns!

And Jesus says,

“Come and dance

With Me.

Come, I call.”

New path now

Unwritten,

Empty page ahead

Lighted eyes

Early morning

Garden dancing

Sparkles of sun

Music whispers quietly

“Daughter, come now.”

My Savior beckons

A life remade

A life changed

Renewed

Free

Flying

Leaping

“Come, my daughter.

Come now,

And dance with Me.

For empty pages

Yet to fill

Meet us here.”

For who I once was

A mist that vanished

Drifted away

By the poem of love

Blossomed through

The heart of Jesus Christ.
