The Giver

I know that I am a giver.

I know that I can drag you out

from the hole, you dug yourself in

So I have done what I can

How do I make you feel fully safe

I want to pull you out

I reach and I reach

And I pull and I pull

To bring out the boy who isn’t afraid

Of the burdens of love.

Love without sorrow,

Without loss.
