The Giver

The bird has many needs

And the tree takes care of these.

When the bird is hungry

Who gives the berries?

When he needs shelter

Who gives the leaves?

And when the bird dies

Who takes him up?

Does the bird die for the tree or for the decendents of he?

The tree takes only to give

He never truly keeps.

The tree takes death so others may live.

Even beyond life, he gives.

Healthy relationships mean sacrifce.
