Giving in

Yesterday I decided to freely be

Less outgoing

And more incoming.

I decided to take out less

And give in more.

To give in to the fire that burns within me,

To the child and shadow that compound me

And to the Universe that molds my being.

I decided to give into love

And to the journey my soul is yet to explore.

I held myself a captive to the world

For too long

So yesterday, when I was faced with a glitch,

I decided to give in to it

And let myself function out of the ordinary.
