Giving Thanks

I'm thankful for me, thankful for you

Thakful for all of life's "to-do's".

I'm thankful for being here today

Thankful for the words I get to say.

I'm thankful for my freedom and my rights

Thankful for the men who died to fight.

I'm thankful for the house I call my home

Thankful for the kindness I've been shown.

I'm thankful for stormy and blue skies,

Thankful for even the hardest goodbyes.

I'm thankful for being alive,

Thankful for this wonderful, beautiful life.
