Glad Dad Floats

Why is there a hole

in the bottom of the boat?

It washed me to the island

not everything seemed to float.

I'm not much on the outdoors

no social media can make me mad.

I don't have a phone, book or tablet

but at least I have my Dad

He washed up beside me

and built a little house.

Now he's searching for water

and we will probably eat a mouse.

I hope we aren't here for very long

maybe Mom will send a plane.

But as long as Dad is standed too

He will probably keep me sane.

Thanks Dad.
