GLAD, NOT SAD

glad,

not sad,

is where I want to be,

but deep down is gloom,

wish I could express;

what it is like to have,

overwhelming emotions,

which are just there,

ever so deeply down.

tears;

of purpose, be

never really show

or openly display,

but outwardly calm

not on show today.

for I want to be;

glad,

not sad......
