Glancing at Stillness

Glancing at stillness

I notice you raise

Lurking in low

transfixed by your gaze

Lent from a star

The gifts you bestow

Upon the night

You shine bright

lights dim

& hearts slow

Is this the end of ancient light sojourn?

Obliged with a ritual

stirred reflections that burn
