Glass

Leaves fall where they may,

As kisses do when you love someone.

People are not who they used to be,

But we will always remember them as they once were.

Twisted tongues of love have never been so sweet...

Saying what wants to be heard,

Instead of,

What needs to be said.

This is the life against the glass,

The cold glass I am tired of living.

I have taken a breath, listened to the music exposed in the air,

Threatening to spill loudly into the atmosphere.

The cold glass has never been this cold.

This cold...

Against my skin.
