Glass

I found

A window

Painted red

With a rose tint to the

glass

The orange

sunlight through

the window. I squint

To see the roses, watching

Me, squinting up at me trying to explain

To me that they are no less mobile than I am

But if it were just a pavement light,

My head would remain down

Looking for

The Red paint

The rose tint

The orange

Sunlight

Through

The

Pavement

Unable to

Squint at the

Roses
