Glass bottle
My glass bottle was once quite small
The white lies i told were a brilliant disguise
The camouflage i had worn like an old rag doll
Even when covered my feelings were never truly downsized
All the deep dark Emotional i have stays bottled up on the inside
Locked up tight with no key in sight
Compressing until nothing else has room to run and hide
If anyone was to come in my doors to look inside, it would be such a fright
Quite frankly my inside thoughts still seem to haunt me
Letting someone see that Vulnerable side of me will really sting
I keep feeling like its the same old thing and it will alway be
I don't see anything good it has to bring
So I keep inside until it comes shooting out like a rocket Shooting off into the sky
Then i try to let people in but i get filled again with so much doubt
In the end people's Facial expressions turn into yet again, another sigh
my bottle bursting is another fight that tends to turn into a brawl
Then i struggle with the universe knocking The pieces out my hand
It not so bad, Maybe it's trying to tell me to stop building up that wall Like maybe stop hiding and take a stand
Now the lies i tell aren't so clever, they're crystal clear and people see right through them
I'm so numb to the feeling of getting better
That I have become a shell of a person i don't acknowledge ever
My bottle seems to grow with bigger seartes and more to hide
Then it Explode with the idea of a Terrible surprise
believe It's wrong that this coping Mechanism didn't come with a guide
But in the end I know that opening up it the best prize
