The Glass Box

The Glass Box

My soul sits in a glass box, on the top shelf.

My heart lies on my sleeve.

You were sent to save me from myself.

So baby please doesn’t leave. I always said there wasn’t a “God” But maybe I was wrong.

And maybe this might seem odd, But I know that you and I belong.

I have a plethora of thoughts in my mind.

I can’t get you out of my head.

I left my old life and world behind.

Without you, I’d be dead.
