Glass Box

Where are you?     Why aren't you answering your phone?

Why cant you do what I ask?   You are nothing without me!

You're cheating on me, aren't you?    Baby, no I will never hit you again. Just stay, please.

My face burns like its a hundred degrees outside, but snow is falling already.

This ice is surrounding my heart.. I can't take this glass box you have put me in.

I need to break it. Where is my saving grace?

Glass comes shattering in all directions... My difference is in front of me..

But what is it or who is it? I tilt my head examining this woman feet in front of me.

I go to touch her and realize it isn't a new person.

It is a mirror hanging on a dark cement wall.

Looking in at myself, I see my savior staring back at me.

I hold the key.

I am finally free.
