The glass, a glass

the glass, a glass.

the water inside absent of taste.

it's neither half full or half empty,

somewhere in between.

the ice cube, an ice cube.

hard and cold, it makes the water such too.

though after a while the ice cube will disappear,

the difference between it and water unnoticeable.

the glass, still a glass

no matter how full.

the cube is no more,

but the water is too.
