glasses and an island

If I was stuck on a deserted island with no man in sight

I would hope for my glasses so I could still have my sight

You see I wasn't born with great vision or even fare

Yet I was born with a loving heart filled with care

But a loving heart can't help you see a shipwrecked boat

Or even a crazy eyed island goat

If I had my glasses I wouldn't be in this mess

Well I would like to hope so, I guess
