Glasses With Brother

I was watching the TV silently

When something was glinting right at me

from the top of the table it shone brightly

So I went to look at this shiny object curiously

And there I found a pair of glasses staring right at me.

I was curious

About this mysterious object

That made me question

its ridiculous fashion.

But alas it was blindening

that felt like a lightning

for my eyes felt like a burden bearer.

And not any fairer .

I took it off with swiftness

for I heard the bannging steps getting closer

coming to collect this wonder

away from me forever

So I put it on for last time

Hoping to make it last a lifetime

and struck again was I with lightning

But this time, not from the glasses

But the stares of my sister.
