Glory Unsung


Victory is a song unwritten,

whose words beget the score

 

With truth in play, all time relayed,

past battles, future wars

 

Yesterday winless, tomorrow tied,

the moment zero sum

 

The hour prescient, each second dear

—glory still unsung
