Glow Up

I started off, had nothing in my corner

Single mother 1 brother

Pops was  here and there

He never was fully there to show how he cared

The streets started to call my name

Living in poverty, I was ashamed

I had to find a way to make light of it

Opportunities, they gonna come my way

Stay humble and keep your head up

You always have god right by your side to pray

Til One day that opportunity i was praying for changed my life

I met this guy who became my mentor and it gave me light

I was able to strive through the darkness

Get pass all the struggles

Do all the things they said I couldn't

And remember to always stay HUMBLE
