Glow up, Grow up

Life... Like many others I grew up in bad neighborhoods

My parents were too young and couldnt live the life they wish they could

It was hard and it was tough to get around

I was a silent boy and I almost never made a sound

I wasnt the strongest physically

But that doesnt mean I was the weakest mentally

I always tried my best and kids my age actually looked up to me...

But I just wish they could see what I could see

As my parents grew so did I

My parents were doing great and we were reaching high

Then I had a sister that I would always have by my side

As a kid I had a lot to learn

Simple things like how pots and pans can burn

With this in mind I learned to have sympathy

Because I know somewhere out there somone is living worse than me...

I speak more now than ever before

I do that now because if I dont then I will never grow

Here I am today grown and going to college

18 never felt so good now that I know my voice can finally be acknowledged
