Glow up, Grow Up

Looking up

to everyone

is what i used to do

Once i grew

everything was new

i was looking down

to everyone around

This new perspective

changed my life

I was now bigger

i was stronger

I had metal put in my mouth

Trying to change my look

this was all just a part

of my glow up

Now i am grown

braces are gone 

I am 5 foot 11

instead of 5 foot 1

I view the world  

a whole lot differently 

than what i did 

when i was just a kid
