Glow, Strike, Pour

Tue, 08/29/2023 - 18:30 -- yeah

Fireflies glow in the dark.

Lightning always strikes something.

Rain pours down.

Lightning and Rain like to speak to each other a lot.

Fireflies don't speak to either of them very often.

They speak to other friends.

Lightning likes to get into trouble, and often sets things on fire.

Rain is cautious, and Lightning's best friend, so Rain knows when to put out Lightning's fires.

They pair together well.

Fireflies see the two together all the time, and Fireflies always wonder if they will have a connection like that sometime.

They don't.

Lightning loves to announce Rain's arrival, and often has to tell Rain to hurry up by striking a few times.

Rain rolls their eyes.

Rain's friend likes to be very fast.

Fireflies light up the night, making sure Rain can be seen and Lightning knows they will have to help for Rain to be noticed.

Fireflies smile.

Rain loves the support of their friends.

Lightning is happy to be.

Just be.

Fireflies finally have a place to fit in.

As sure as Lightning strikes and Rain pours, Fireflies glow in the dark.
