Glow'd Up, Grown Up, Adulting

I realized I’d had a glow up when,
I didn’t hate my skin anymore,
And I no longer cared about looking like “everyone else.”

I realized I had grown up when,
I wasn’t afraid to make waves anymore,
I wasn’t afraid to say “HEY!”, I disagree.

I realized I wasn’t a kid anymore when,
All I want to do is work and “make that money”,
Become something,
And build something out of nothing.
