Glowing Up

I start out young

Cloudy, foggy

No lighthouses in my mind

Shying away from my

Kind

Stressed

Depressed

And, ultimately, Repressed

Infortune weighing heavily

I sigh

Time flows

Body grows

The clouds begin to lift

I see

I touch

I feel

The sunlight on my face

Happiness coincides

With

Awareness

I let the sunlight in
