Gnawing Time

Gnawing away at time

I wait

Until the days go by

I wait

when will my time come

I wait, to hear of the unknown

This, which will frighten me so

Mother yelling in my ear

Father telling me to fear

Awaiting the time of stress

I wait

Gnawing at the fingers of time

Chewing flesh as years go by

I wait
