Go Back To Me

Why do I write? To write means to live And remember every single moment however daunting it may be What is life if not remembrance? A mere collection of memories Stocked in every corner of our soul And kept until our dying day What is soul if not a mirror Of our highs and our lows Of people who once came by And left without saying goodbye So why do I write? I write to remember myself The girl with the fire in her eyes That’s sometimes dimmed by the burdens of everyday I may not be that girl forever But I shall not surrender today Because every time I remember I go back to living again

Bubble Bee

Hi! I'm a student and a huge fan of poetry! I don't usually talk about my feelings in front of others and poetry allows me to express myself without worrying about judgement or misunderstanding. I hope that you'll be able to find your safe haven in my poems, too ;D
