Go Forward And Conquer

Just build your world You can go a long way Be that bright sunshine To lift the spirit each day Open your eyes Along with your mind Always remember To be gentle and kind Go forward and conquer Stay driven from within Remain on course Be the one who enlightens You can do it Always look to inspire Have self-confidence Show them that fire Just enhance your world For the moment is at hand Enlighten your vision As much as you can Go through the battle Always push harder Believe and achieve Make yourself sharper

This is my description of myself and my poetry. My name is Brooklyn Six aka The Brooklyn Six Project. I was born on Monday, August 26th 1974 in New York City. I graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School in June 1992. I served in the United States Navy for nine years. While in the Navy I have lived in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Portland Or, and Seattle. I currently live in Lynnwood, Washington about twenty miles north of downtown Seattle. Poetry is my written medication whenever I feel stressed about something. All of my poems are about life, love, happiness, sadness, triumph, and tragedy. Hopefully, i will be able to captivate others with my poetry. Take care everyone.
