Go Green?

Why go green, When you can go brown? Who needs fog, When you can have smog? The air may not be clear But have no fear! The Earth maybe dying, But we will still be thriving! No need for Earth, We can live on the moon. No need for animals, We don’t need the buffoon. Why go green, When you can go brown? We all must believe That we don’t need trees. Let’s cut down an evergreen In order to be clean And to market “The environment should not be the target” The irony Of the reality And the cruel truth Of the inhumanity Is destroying our planet And sending us to insanity How must we stop this? When will someone step up? My generation will stop this actuality. And turn it into fiction-ality. No more excuses No more “why me?” It ends with you and me Right here and now Not tomorrow And no longer yesterday But today. We will recycle today. And ride our bikes today. The destruction of our plant ends today with you and me.
