The Goal of Education
Knowledge is a blessing.
Grades strive to prove this.
Grades are like money.
People want money
because they believe that their lives would be easier with it,
but money is a means of convincing people to work.
People want outstanding grades
because they believe that they indicate their intelligence,
but grades are a means of convincing people to learn.
Grades and money use the same strategy;
they want people to take action.
The issue occurs when
people don't realize the purpose of these types of systems.
