Goals

Philippians 3:14 New King James Version (NKJV)

14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Reaching within or touching without

Goals

What are goals ... or my destination?

Are they interwoven in creation?

Are they pre-planned for me to see?

Do I reach for that to be free?

And at the end ... an evaluation?

And your goals... a mutilation?

Oh! The one I could have been

if I had listened to the truth within

Is it in writing down some goals?

Obedience to Christ fully controls

though my blinders I can’t be whole

I have to change now ... Oh!my soul.
