Shattered hearts Broken dreams This is the world I’ve seen People with frowns And faces full of tears While others hide their pain With anger and fears The sun never light the sky And it rains constantly I wish people would just open their eyes To see the wonders life could bring To discover the things unseen And live life fully I was in this world once before But I found a light That meant so much more And now I have something to live for
