God is Awesome

In today's society you needn't the hassle of telling the world who you are the words you speak, and the way you carry yourself—do it all for you as this cruel world is swift to judge; and yet claims to accept all one day this world will realize who was right, and the deception of who wasn’t Christianity, was and continues to be shot down While people claim religious sensitivity shouting, “Stop shoving your beliefs down our throats!” when in truth, all we do is care about this lost and dying world I was resentful, and life held no meaning but harbored contempt and sorrow I, almost gave up so many times Until I heard a sweet voice, saying “make me your choice” falling to my knees, humbled at an old-fashioned altar I cried out to God, who I always denied My soul finally came upon peace i learned the bible teaches love—to love one another, as He first loved us i found joy, genuine happiness so real and true any would want to share, I havent been the same ever since, i’m far from perfect as I still have moments leaning to sorrow, but more than that— I am now a child of God, and grateful that I have found a friend in Jesus who has stuck closer than a brother, and has never failed me I have found Everlasting life—don’t think I’m shoving anything when I say, you can too
