You have my life in your hands
You are guarding my heart
You keep on loving me
When I give you reasons to apart;

I thank you for forgiveness
And shining your light on me
I am a unique human being
Because of the way you created me to be;

You gave me life with a mind
Therefore I know I am a thinking thing
I have no doubt of you God
I praise your name and I sing

My entire submissive life
I will always depend on you
For it was your idea of me God
Without you there is nothing I can do;

I trust in my human intellect
You are the almighty God without deceit
I ask for the great jewels of wisdom
And guidance of my feet.

Sometimes I think I can see my way
I know you gave me free will
But I know I can make mistakes
I think I should wait on you and be still;

Everything in me I received from God
I Know God will not deceive me
Therefore I am safe in his arms
I trust I'll be what he wants me to be:
