17 I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, will give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your growing knowledge of him,

James 1:5

New English Translation

5 But if anyone is deficient in wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without reprimand, and it will be given to him.

The standard of conduct carved in stone cannot grow in quality

As the degree of knowledge rises, it will not keep pace within

As we hunger to understand the scriptures, revelation comes to us

Experiencing spiritual commitment should reflect in the life we live

His light progresses then and shines through us

Our conscience will go forward without offense

This God-given standard reflects here His Holiness

and will point out the flaws and our sinfulness

According to our respectful conditions, God will deal with us

He always gives warnings when we violate His goals

We should not extend ourselves to understand all truth

If it is beyond our capacity, that surely The Holy Spirit knows?
