The God In Me

The God In Me,

Died For My Sins

There Is No Other Act Like This One

There Is No Other Love Like This One

There Is No Other Man Like This One

The God In Me,

Rose From The Dead

He Forgives Me

He Loves Me Unconditionally

He Remains By My Side

The God In Me,

Lives

His Word is Living

His Ways Are Righteous

His Love Endures Forever

So many individuals use poetry as an escape, as a way to express their feelings or views on various situations or topics and that's OK. However, having read so many poems, many writers seem to only write about unfortunate things and they choose to write about how unlucky their lives have been. Poetry isn't just about getting the reader to sympathize with one. When you're able to look far beyond all the tough aspects of life and then choose to write about how better of a person you've become or just simply write about the good you were able to experience in this life, that's what makes a poet valuable. Life consists of so many beautiful things. Don't consider yourself a victim, but rather go out, explore, and conquer all that life has for you.
