God in the Middle of the Mist

As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I hear whispers that make me hold my breath. I try to run away, but then I realize that there's no way out, Not mattering how much I try to scream and shout. As I keep walking, the whispers are following, but...I still manage to keep trying. I try to run more forward, get out of this mess, of these whispers that torment my mind. And I feel my heart beating less and less. Somewhere in the whisper, I hear, "You're not worth it! Die!" I fall to the ground thinking life's a lie. I'm trying so hard to cover my ears. I can't help it anymore, I feel like they're reaching me, getting closer to me, I feel wet in my cheeks and I notice that they're tears. I look around and I just see the trees moving along the wind. The late night birds chirping and flying around the sky. I stand up again, thinking, "I won't give up!" But as soon as I stand, the whispers come back. I get on my knees, with my hands lifted to the sky, surrendering to God, my whole entire life. As I have my eyes close, more and more tears are running down. Then I hear a voice from far away saying, "I am here, you're not alone!" I look up and see a splendor of light, with a hand extending towards me, speaking with a great might. I raised my hand holding His. He carried me, taking me away from this hole, thinking in my mind, there's still hope. He took me by His arms and hugged me really tight His sweet voice told me, "We have won the fight!"
