God In My Heart Is Your Only Place

God In My Heart Is Your Only Place

Storms that came

My life it changed

Wounds that won’t heal and scars that still remains

God one thing that still stays the same

In my heart is your only place

This world may change

Everyone around me no longer the same

Bonds of love nothing but weak threads that broke at the slightest change

God one thing that still stays the same

In my heart is your only place

This world that is sometimes a strange place

Of shattered dreams broken lives and pain

Only guarantees you have is that things always change

God one thing that still stays the same

In my heart is your only place

Whenever life leaves me confused or ashamed

Everything feels lost and every path a dead end lane

Then you speak to me and I once again picture your face

God one thing that still stays the same

In my heart is your only place

Your voice sounds like amazing grace

Once again I sing your praise

I say a silent prayer and say your name

God one thing that always stays the same

In my heart is your only place
