God is My Mom, My Mom is God

God is my mom

Speaking figuratively

God conveys his messages through her to me

My mom gives me courage

My mom gives me the strength to go on

My mom is the reason I am here today

My mom plays the role of a mother and father

Without my mom, I am nothing

God gives me power

God gives me everything I need

God gives me the things I want

God is there to pick me back up when I am down

God allows me to come to him without judgement

Just as a mom is to a child

Just as my mom is to me

God is my mom

My mom is God

Sometimes I may question God

Sometimes I get upset that his plans aren’t going according to mine

Sometimes I get mad at my mom

Sometimes I go against her rules

Sometimes I walk down the wrong paths in life

But they forgive me and love me unconditionally

But they are always there walking with me

But they will always protect me from things my eyes can’t see, my mind can’t comprehend, and my heart can’t handle

They know my heart

They know I am only human

They know I will always need them no matter how I am

God is my mom

My mom is God

Both are always here for me

They are the only reason I can be

Without them I am not complete

They gave me life

And without them my life is an abyss of nothingness

Without them I will forever be in need

I am forever grateful for them

They are the most important things I need

They are the most important things to me

They forever shed their graces upon me

They forever bless me with knowledge

They forever love me

They will always be there for me

God is my mom

My mom is God

To me
