God of trade, wealth and luck

He is not one to do just one thing.

Everywhere at once, all he needs is his wings.

Running shoes that fly were made popular by him.

Mortals can even buy them on a whim.

Even Nike couldn’t top winged sneakers like those.

Sales skyrocketing, that’s all he knows.

Investing in businesses is the move.

Selling quality, always looking how to improve.

Thinking maybe he needs someone else spreading the news.

He’ll probably have to contemplate it after making more shoes.

Even though it’s business, it’s not always about making a buck.

God of trade, wealth and luck.

Occasionally playing the role of messenger.

Doesn’t ask, not much of a questioner.

Of course he is more of a go getter.

Flying high, doesn’t get much better.

Trickster, not afraid to bend a rule.

Responsibility may lack, but he’s still seen as cool.

Adored by all, good and bad.

Decades and centuries later, he’s still that god-like lad.

Even Hermes couldn’t say it any better than that.
