Godfather

A father not by blood

But through the eyes of god

You cared and showed a new life

To a poor boy who would fight

You took one under your wing

to treat like family and show him what you would do

without even a clue of what he would do

You saw and assumed he would be just like you

Provided the opputunities he never thought would come true

reality kicked in and changed his look on life

dreams came true and that was all because of you
