GOD'S GIFT

As I sit here in silence

And ponder the day

Thinking of the many things

That have been given me

My great love for the outdoors

Has lead me here today

The buck I've been watching

Starts walking my way

When all is done and over

Leaning down I pray

For the gifts of food

And the life I have taken away
