God's Grand Design

I’ve lived a life

Filled with bullies and clowns

They’ve hurt me bad

Made me cry without sound

It’s only by the grace of god

That I’m ok

I could have been downright evil

To everyone that came my way

God didn’t make me like that

He made me loving and kind

Exactly what I want to be

God’s grand design

I try to be honest

Like he made me to be

But it’s easier to lie

Especially to people who’ve hurt me

But I still have to try

Matter of fact I’d rather die

Stick a needle in my eye

Because I won’t lie

God doesn’t want that

I’m not a liar

God’s grand design is

I won’t burn in the eternal fire

I’m going to act right

So I can see the light

Oh my goodness so bright

Bow at his eternal might

See his shinning face

Feeling his love forever

Wrapping me in his warm embrace

Finally I feel safe

That’s how it’s supposed to be

Me knowing that I’ll be fine

Walking down the right line

Just Dasha God’s Grand Design
