God's Perfect Promise

There once was a baby born Who would bring peace and joy to the torn, He sacrificed his life for me, For the steeple I may see, He came to those who mourn, A laurel of peace to adorn, To love in community, His greatest plan to be, I'm jubilant to forewarn, That this life will be no more, Therefore all must hasten and flee, From the devils cruel and crafty plea.
