Going through the motions
Words they bring life Words they bring pleasure Sweet like a comb something like a treasure Somehow it got lost but now it’s discovered Waiting to be found Like an undercover Couldn’t see it cuz It was hidden No no never ridden From the beginning Like a prophecy it was written Do read the bible compelled to sinnin’ Embedded in my cran –ium These streets become An awaiting asylum Infested with bums This is our slum And this is my life The day feels like night And night feels like day They say am cra-zay Caught up in my shame Drowning in my pain
