Gold

She’s wrapped in gold,

Shines like a star,

And everybody knows she’s ahead of the times,

So kind.

She’ll knock you off of your feet,

So sweet,

And I get to call her mine.

We danced under the gold lights,

Gazing at the night sky.

I wrapped my arms around her and I smiled,

Because everything was gold for a while.

Everything was gold.

Her hair,

Her skin,

Her eyes,

Precious like the metal.

I’m hypnotised.

She’s gold.
