Golden

The young girl watches

The almost unseen movement

From the bottom

To the very top

Paired pleasantly with a background music

Consisting of seagulls singing

And light waves crashing against the shore

Before she realizes it

The sun has risen to its final point

Settling in the sky

And even though she sat there watching

She wonders where the time has gone

People begin their days around her

The world revolves

The wind whistles

The waves crash

And, the seagulls sing

But the girl remains

Just wondering
