Golden Eyes
Golden eyes
The sun it followed you
There's nothing to say
There's nothing I could do
Memories will last
But fade as they do
I can't remember
Your golden eyes
As the sun shown in them
Unaware of your untimely demise
Six months yesterday
So strange
So weird
I could have thought
That you would always be here
Now nothing's left
To mark my mind
Your face it fades
But the sun still shines
