Golden Glow

Dear Sun,

I miss you.

I miss your warmth.

Dark clouds have filled

The blue sky that was once your home.

The soft rain that falls

Never has an end.

Misting down,

Slowly soaking my hair.

How I long for the feeling of your rays

Against my skin.

The golden glow that once filled the air

With a sense of calmness.

The happiness that radiates

From within me when I am with you

Is gone.

Sun, please come back.

I need your light.

For it seems I am trapped

In a world of darkness.

Waiting for your golden glow

To fill me once again.
