Golden Heart
Dance beyond the golden gates,
and join your loving mom.
I don’t want to let you go,
but rest now grandma.
I’ll never forget how much you have done for me.
I will hold you close in memory
and in heart.
your love was like a boomerang,
that was thrown and
It always was returned unconditionally.
I felt it everyday coming from your heart,
now put it to rest.
Although our hearts are broken,
we know god took one of the best.
I see your presence near,
but you see, that's not possible.
Although the pain is agonizing,
I’ll never forget what you have done for me.
so sleep in the brightest of all,
with the angels and the giant sun.
At last your heart will be where it belongs,
with the brightest of them all.
And finally you can rest in peace.
